• Select the Print choice from the File Menu or Click on the Print toolbar button on the standard Toolbar.

• The Print Dialog box is exhibited.

• Select the printer on which you want to print the document in the Name text box.

• Select a choice from the Print what drop-down list.

• Select a choice from the Print drop-down list.

• The Properties button needs to be opted for

• The Printer Properties dialog box is displayed.

Page Size - Allows selecting the size of paper such as, A4, Custom Size, Legal and Letter.

Portrait - Allows printing the document in a vertical format.

Landscape - Allows printing the document in a horizontal format.

• Opt for Paper tab.

• Modify the Paper size to A4 and Orientation to Portrait.

• Opt for the OK button to close the Properties dialog box.

• Opt for the OK button to send copies to the printer.

Printing Multiple Documents

The steps to print multiple documents are:

Right-click on the Start menu and choose Explore to open the Explorer.

Opt in for the files to be printed.

Move the pointer over the selection and right click to display the shortcut menu.

Select the Print option

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are used to identify the beginning of a chapter, tables or the place in the document where you left off. You can mark a section, a character, and a range of characters, graphics or any other Word element.

Bookmarks can be used to jump to specific points in a document without having to Scroll or search through the pages in the document.

The steps to create a bookmark are:

• Position the insertion point at the location where you want to create a bookmark.

• Opt for the Bookmark option from the Insert menu.

• The Bookmark dialog box is displayed

• Type a name for the bookmark in the Bookmark Name text box.

• Add button needs to be opted for.

Bookmark names can contain up to 40 characters. A name must begin with a letter and can include numbers, letters and underlines but not spaces, punctuation marks or other characters.

The steps to go to a predefined bookmark are:

• Select the Go To option from the Edit menu

• Select the Bookmark option from the Go To What scroll list.

• Select the name of the bookmark from the Enter Bookmark Name drop-down list.
