How to Remove Copy Protection from a DVD with Freeware

A DVD ripper is a program that will copy the contents of a DVD disc onto the user's hard drive. But is there a way to copy or rip a DVD that has been burned with copy protection? A DVD decrypter is a program designed to unscramble the encoding used to make the DVD copy protected. The most efficient way to remove copy protection is to use a program that will both decrypt and rip the DVD.
